RibFeature.setDistanceExtent Method

Description

Sets the extent type of the rib so that it extends a specified distance. This sets the extentType property to DistanceRibWebExtentType.

To use this method, you need to position the timeline marker to immediately before this feature. This can be accomplished using the following code: thisFeature.timelineObject.rollTo(True)

Syntax

"ribFeature_var" is a variable referencing a RibFeature object.

returnValue = ribFeature_var.setDistanceExtent(depth)
"ribFeature_var" is a variable referencing a RibFeature object.
