SpotLight.lightType Property

Description

Returns the type of this light. Use this to safely down-cast to the matching derived light type (PointLight, DirectionalLight, SpotLight, or PhotometricLight).

Syntax

"spotLight_var" is a variable referencing a SpotLight object.
# Get the value of the property.
propertyValue = spotLight_var.lightType
"spotLight_var" Is a variable referencing a SpotLight Object.
