TSplineTorusInput Object

Derived from: TSplineShapeInput Object
Defined in namespace "adsk::fusion" and the header file is <Fusion/TSpline/TSplineTorusInput.h>

Description

Defines the input used to create a torus shaped T-Spline body.

Methods

Name Description
classType

Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType().

Properties

Name Description
isCircularSymmetry Gets and sets whether circular symmetry is applied on the torus. If this is true, isXSymmetric, isYSymmetric, and isZSymmetric are ignored.
isValid Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference.
isXSymmetric Gets and sets whether the shape is symmetric along the X direction.
isYSymmetric Gets and sets whether the shape is symmetric along the Y direction.
isZSymmetric Gets and sets whether the shape is symmetric along the Z direction.
majorFaceCount Gets and sets the number of faces along the major circumference of the torus.
majorRadius Gets and sets the major radius of the torus in centimeters.
minorFaceCount Gets and sets the number of faces along the minor circumference of the torus.
minorRadius Gets and sets the minor radius of the torus in centimeters.
objectType This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object.

It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType():
origin Gets and sets the corner point of the shape. This defines the minimum corner for a box or plane, or the center for the other primitive shapes.
symmetricFaceCount Gets and sets the number of symmetric faces. This is only used if isCircularSymmetry is true.
xDirection Gets and sets the vector defining the X direction of the base plane.
yDirection Gets and sets the vector defining the Y direction of the base plane. This must be perpendicular to the xDirection.
