This functionality is provided as a preview
of intended future API capabilities. You are encouraged to use it and report any problems or suggestions using the
Fusion API and Scripts forum.
Because this is a preview of future functionality, there is the possibility that it will change, which will possibly
break any existing programs that use this functionality. Because of that, you should never deliver any programs that use
any preview capabilities. For a distributed program, you should wait until it has moved from preview to released state.
Per-feature override for the two-bend corner relief sheet metal rule.
| Name | Description |
| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
| clearOverride |
Clears the override so the owning feature uses the sheet metal rule default. Use setOverride on the concrete override type to activate an override with values. |
| setOverride |
Activates the two-bend corner relief override with the specified shape, size, and placement. If an override is already active, this replaces it. |
| Name | Description |
| isOverridden | Returns true if this override is currently active. When false, the owning feature uses the sheet metal rule default. |
| isTemporary | Returns true if this override is associated with a feature input object rather than an existing feature. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
| placement | Gets and sets the two-bend corner placement. Setting has no effect unless isOverridden is true and the current shape is Round or Square; placement is ignored for all other shapes. Getting returns the current placement value regardless of whether it is meaningful for the current shape. To set this property, you need to position the timeline marker to immediately before this feature. This can be accomplished using the following code: thisFeature.timelineObject.rollTo(true) |
| shape | Gets and sets the two-bend corner shape when the override is active. Setting the shape does not change whether size and placement are applicable (only Round and Square use them). Setting when no override is active has no effect. To set this property, you need to position the timeline marker to immediately before this feature. This can be accomplished using the following code: thisFeature.timelineObject.rollTo(true) |
| size | Returns the model parameter controlling the two-bend corner relief size in Feature context. Returns null unless isOverridden is true, isTemporary is false, and shape is Round or Square — use sizeValue instead in Input context. |
| sizeValue | Gets and sets the two-bend corner relief size in Input context. Returns null unless isTemporary and isOverridden are both true and shape is Round or Square — use size instead in Feature context. |
