WebFeatures.createInput Method

Description

Creates a WebFeatureInput object. Use properties and methods on this object to define the web feature you want to create and then use the Add method, passing in the WebFeatureInput object to create the feature.

Syntax

"webFeatures_var" is a variable referencing a WebFeatures object.

returnValue = webFeatures_var.createInput(curves, thickness, targetBody)
"webFeatures_var" is a variable referencing a WebFeatures object.

Return Value

Type Description
WebFeatureInput Returns the newly created WebFeatureInput object or null if the creation failed.

Parameters

curves SketchCurve[] An array of SketchCurve objects that form one or more connected chains defining the web profiles. List each chain's curves together in connected order; a break in connectivity starts a new chain.
thickness ValueInput A ValueInput object that defines the thickness of the web.
targetBody BRepBody The BRepBody that the web will be created on.
