Create an action

Learn how to add an action into the animation timeline.

1. In the Animation workspace, select a storyboard.

2. Drag the playhead to the desired point on the timeline.

3. Use a command to change the scene in the graphic window.

   For example: Select a component, click the Transform command from the ribbon, then move the object 10 cm along the X axis. Press OK, and you can see an action appear on the timeline documenting that move.

4. After you confirm a scene change (click OK in the command dialog), the corresponding action is automatically added into the timeline.

Delete an action

• In the timeline, right-click an action and then select Delete.
• In the timeline, select the action and then press Delete on the keyboard.
