Show or hide a tool

When you enter the Manufacture workspace, the Navigation bar displays the option of being able to show or hide the tool, and the ability to snap the tool to the cursor. After snapping the tool to the cursor, you can move the cursor to different areas of the model to quickly check for tool clearances.

Important: Use simulation for a more thorough check for tool clearances.
  1. In the Browser, click the name of a toolpath to select that toolpath. The selected toolpath is highlighted.

  2. On the Navigation bar, click Tool Visibility show hide tool icon.

  3. Select the checkboxes for the options you want visible.

  4. (Optional) To snap the tool to the cursor, select the Show Tool checkbox then select the Show Tool on Cursor Ctrl+T checkbox. You can move the cursor to different areas on a model to check for tool clearances.

Note: When snapping the tool to the cursor, use the orthographic view. Right-click the ViewCube and select Orthographic.
