Use the Bill of Materials in a Configured Design
Open the Bill of Materials (BOM) in a Configured Design in Fusion to view and edit the BOM for the active configuration.
View and edit the BOM for a Configured Design
Open a Configured Design.
On the toolbar, click Bill of Materials
.The BOM displays for the active configuration.
Edit BOM property values.
The property values update in the BOM for the active configuration.
Note: In a Configured Design, internal component BOM property values are the same across all configurations. If you edit these values, the change applies to the internal component across all configurations.
Tip: To assign unique BOM property values to an internal component for each configuration, configure the Properties aspect of the internal component.
Activate a different configuration to update the BOM
When you activate a different Configuration, the BOM refreshes automatically to show the components and quantities for the new active configuration.
