Import all private Library.io 3D packages from a library

When you open an existing library or first save a new library that contains private Library.io packages, Fusion prompts you to import those packages into your hub. Importing these packages into your hub avoids permission errors for team members when they access the components or build 3D boards.

Steps

  1. Open or save a library that contains private Library.io packages.
  2. In the banner that appears at the top of the library editor, click Import Packages.
  3. In the Import Packages dialog, review the list of packages that need to be imported.
    • A package showing Ready to Import in the Import As column has not yet been found in the hub and will be uploaded.
    • If a package is already found in the hub, the dialog displays the matching package and updates the library to reference the correct hub package rather than the Library.io package.
    • If multiple packages have been found in the hub, you should select which package to use in the library.
    • If packages you expect to see are missing, click Scan Hub for Missing Packages to search the hub for packages that may already exist.
  4. In the Location field, click Change Location to select the project and folder where the imported packages will be stored.
  5. Optionally, check Create a package folder at the selected location to automatically create a dedicated folder for all packages in this library. This helps keep package files organized.
  6. Click Import to proceed.
