About creating 3D PCBs from sketches

The two PCB tools in the Design workspace are used to create precisely sized circuit boards from sketches.

• Create Associative PCB creates a PCB that can update dynamically when changes are made to the original sketch. This option requires that the sketch be saved to a project.
• Create Independent PCB creates a PCB from a sketch or face that is not linked to the source. Use this option to create an external reference (Xref) in an enclosure design.
