Convert a shape to a polygon shape

Convert a closed shape to a polygon shape, which carries no signal. Use this for graphic items such as a logo or a documentation outline.

Right-click the closed shape you want to convert.
Select Convert to Polygon Shape, then choose whether to copy the shape or replace it.
Select the layer you want the polygon shape to be on.

Note: If you convert an object that carries a signal, the signal name is removed from the new polygon shape.

To convert a closed shape to copper that carries a signal, use Convert to Copper Pour in the same menu. See .
