Flatten designators in the 2D PCB

Convert hierarchical designators to flat designators for cleaner output files.

1. On the 2D PCB Rules toolbar, click Preferences > Design Preferences.
2. In the Design Preferences dialog, click the Designators tab.
3. Check Flatten reference designators for module components.
4. Click OK to apply the setting.
