Left-click an object origin, the object attaches to the cursor. Move to a different location or use the arrow keys to move the object.
Note: Use Alt + arrow key to move per alternate grid settings.
Optionally, right-click to rotate the object 90 degrees counterclockwise. Additional right-clicks continue to rotate the object.
Move the cursor to the location you want the component and click.
While the Move command is active, click the origin of another object to move it.
