Use Pattern

Rectangular

  1. With a schematic or board open, select the object to pattern and click Place > Pattern Pattern icon.
  2. In the Pattern dialog for Shape, click rectangular Pattern icon. The options display progressively as you enter values.
  3. Specify the number of columns, X spacing, and X direction.
  4. Specify the number of rows, Y spacing, and Y direction.
  5. Click in the canvas to specify the start point or use the dialog option.
  6. Continue to refine the pattern either by clicking in the canvas or changing a dialog value.
  7. Click Done when ready to accept the pattern location.

Circular

  1. With a schematic or board open, select object to pattern and click Place > Pattern Pattern icon.
  2. For Shape select circular Pattern icon. The options display progressively as you enter values.
  3. Specify the object quantity.
  4. Specify the Center Point using the dialog values or by clicking in the canvas.
  5. For Angle, specify Full or Angle. If Angle, specify the Total Angle the pattern will populate.
  6. Specify the direction, counterclockwise or clockwise.
  7. Click the lock to enable access to the Start angle and radius. Then specify the values to use.
  8. Continue to refine the pattern either by clicking in the canvas or changing a dialog value.
