Add pins
- With an open library, click New Symbol, and choose to either draw one from scratch, or import an existing symbol as a basis.
- On the Library Symbol toolbar, click Pin .
- In the Pin dialog, check or set the following properties for each pin before placing it:
- Rotate orientation; you can right-click to cycle through the 4 options.
- Function – None, Dot (inverter), Clk (clock), DotClk (inverted clock)
- Length – Point, Short, Middle, Long
- Display – Direction, Direction and Pin name
- Direction – nc (not connected), in, out, io, oc (open collector), pwr, pas (passive), hiz (high impedance), sup (general supply pin)
- SwapLevel – 0 or higher integer
- Click to place each pin, changing properties as required.
