Create a copper pour cutout

A cutout removes copper from a copper pour. It applies only to copper pours, not to polygon shapes.

  1. On the PCB Design toolbar, click Copper Pour Cutout Copper Pour Cutout icon. The Copper Pour Cutout dialog opens.
  2. Inside the copper pour, click to start drawing the shape to be cut out.
  3. Double-click to close the shape and remove it from the copper pour.
