Move a port

Reposition a port on a module boundary to improve schematic readability or routing.

1. Open a schematic sheet that contains a module with ports.

2. On the Schematic Design toolbar, click Modify > Move .

3. Click the port you want to move.

   The port attaches to the cursor.

4. Drag the port to a new position on the module boundary.

5. Click to place the port in its new location.

   The port moves to the new position on all instances of the module.
