Arrange objects in rectangular formation

Arrange selected objects into an XY grid.

1. In an open Electronics schematics or 2D PCB document, select the objects to arrange.
2. On the Design tab, click (Modify > Arrange) to open the Arrange dialog.
3. In the Arrange dialog, in the Shape section, click Rectangular Arrange .
4. In the canvas, click to specify the start point or use the dialog option.
5. In the Arrange dialog, specify the number of columns, X spacing, and X direction, and press Enter to preview the effect of the new value.
6. Specify the number of rows, Y spacing, and Y direction and press Enter to preview the effect of the new value.
7. Continue to refine the formation either by clicking in the canvas or changing a dialog value and pressing Enter.
8. Click Done when ready to accept the formation and location.
