Automatically renumber schematic component reference designators to a logical, spatially ordered sequence, e.g. when they've fallen out of sequence following schematic adjustments.
On the Schematic Design toolbar, click Modify > Renumber Designators
.
In the Renumber Designators dialog, select your renumbering options:
Sheets/Modules: Select which sheets or modules to renumber. You can select any combination of sheets.

For Lower start orders (Lower Left or Lower Right), choose:
Start Number: Enter the starting number for the sequence.
Group by Sheets: Group the numbering by individual sheets. Modules are not affected by grouping.

Parts Without Footprint: Include parts that do not have a footprint assigned.
As you modify renumbering options, the table below will demonstrate how the reference designators will be renamed.
(Optional) Using the Checkboxes you can choose which components you wish to include or exclude. To find components more easily, use the search bar.
Click OK to apply the renumbering.
