Synchronize documents

Detect and handle differences between two designs. Note: Currently, Synchronizer is not supported for modules.

1. Open both documents in Electronics, typically a schematic and a circuit board.
2. Click the schematic document, then on the Schematic Validate toolbar, click Synchronize .
3. In the Synchronizer dialog, note that the schematic is the source document, and the circuit board is the target.
4. Review the columns that show which components and nets would be added to, removed from, or modified in the target document if synchronization was run.
5. Use the check boxes to make any desired changes to the synchronization, such as deselecting components that you do not want added to the target.
6. When satisfied with the change list, click Run in the dialog to implement the changes in the target.
