Pin constraint in the Generative Design workspace

A constraint that prevents the target cylindrical face from moving or deforming in the radial, axial, or tangential direction.

The pin constraint is applied based on a cylindrical coordinate system to the selected cylindrical face.

If you select... then...
Radial Nodes along the cylindrical face cannot move or deform radially.
Axial Nodes along the cylindrical face cannot move axially.
Tangential Nodes along the cylindrical face cannot translate tangentially (preventing rotation of the cylinder about its own axis).

An example of a pin constraint, applied radially and axially to 4 faces.
