Compute parameters, features, and assembly relationships in a design

Learn how use the Compute All command to compute all of the parameters, features, and assembly relationships in a parametric design in Fusion.

Compute All

All of the parameters, features, and assembly relationships in the design compute, and the design updates in the canvas.

Note: Typically Fusion computes everything automatically as you edit a parametric design.

Resolve warnings and errors

If any of the parameters, features, or assembly relationships cannot be computed, a yellow warning or red error highlights the feature in the Timeline.

  1. In the Timeline, right-click the feature.

  2. Select Review Warning.

The warning or error message displays in the lower-right.

  3. Expand and review the warning, then try any advice provided. For example:

    • Double-click the feature to edit it.
    • Reselect any missing geometry.
    • Identify upstream features that are referenced downstream, and determine whether they have been modified, suppressed, or deleted.
