Usability

Improved performance for Windows Selection, with up to 10% faster selection on large designs.
Improved performance for Invert Selection, with up to 40x faster inversion of large selections.
Improved Home Tab behavior so the Focus panel remains pinned and open on launch unless explicitly unpinned and closed by the user.

Data Management

The Bill of Materials now updates automatically in real time as events occur within Fusion Manage workflows.
Added support for treating subassemblies as single components in the BOM (Hide Children).

Design

Added Isoparametric Curves to the Sketch environment.
Added Snap Point support for Point at Vertex in Construction Geometry.
Added expanded Auto Look at Sketch camera behavior options, including Off, Always Orthographic, and User Camera Settings.
Added configuration support for the Constrain Components command, including configurable Suppression, Flip, Offset, and Angle aspects.
Configure Replace Component for Standard Designs now supports selecting multiple designs when creating a replacement list.
Improved reliability when downloading components from McMaster-Carr by adding an import progress indicator and improved error messaging.

Drawings

Dimension tolerances now automatically convert when document units are changed in Document Settings.

Electronics

Enhanced Drill Assignment and Symbol Management with expanded symbol options and improved per design control.
Place Panel search now supports searching by attribute values, with options to narrow results to specific attributes.
The "Attach Copy of Existing 3D Model" option now allows attaching a STEP file or hub design directly to a footprint.

Simulation

Introduced a modernized Simulation Results experience for Linear Static Stress (LSS), Thermal, and Thermal Stress studies.
Added Guided Safety Factor visualization for Linear Static Stress studies.
Consolidated result settings and legend controls adjacent to the legend.
Added redesigned animation controls accessible from an animation bar.
Introduced a unified cutting plane dialog.
Modernized Simulation report format for LSS, Thermal, and Thermal Stress studies.

Manufacturing

Added support for intermediate drive curves in Blend toolpaths.
Added modification capabilities (Trim, Delete Passes, Leads and Links) for 3D Adaptive and 3D Pocket toolpaths (Preferences > Manufacture > Optional Features > Modifications for 3D Adaptive Clearing and 3D Pocket Clearing)(Manufacturing Extension).

Added Machine Auto-transparency option for machine components during simulation.
Re-enabled trimming for drilling toolpaths machining through the bottom of a hole.

Numerical controls in the Manufacture workspace now respect user preferences for precision, scientific notation thresholds, and trailing zero settings.

Additive

Added multi-axis rotations for True Shape additive arrangements.
Added Move to Corner and Move to Center options in the Additive Move command.
Added support for component preselection in Move, Duplicate, Remove from Setup, and Minimize Build Height commands.

API

Added API support for selecting reference tools for operations that use them.

Resolved issues

Usability

Fixed an issue on Windows where touch input was not detected in the modeling canvas when the touchscreen was not configured as the primary display.
Resolved an issue where command palettes could disappear when moved between displays with different DPI scales.

Data Management

Fixed an issue where launching components from the BOM did not correctly open the Manufacturing Extension dialog with the BOM selected SPN components as the active selection.

Design

Fixed an issue with Insert Derive which required the destination design to be saved before doing the derive.
Fixed an issue in a configuration workflow using milestones where copies of a configured design created via Export, Copy, or Save As could reference configurations from the original design.
Resolved an issue where saving a model with a home view set in the Render workspace did not preserve the workspace context on reopen.
Resolved an issue where the Fusion drawing environment switched the focus from other apps on mouse hover.

Manufacturing

Fixed an issue where certain groove roughing toolpaths did not machine the full groove width.
Improved stability related to tool selection in toolpaths.
Fixed an issue where toolpaths referencing mesh bodies could fail to calculate in some circumstances.
Fixed an issue where certain turning groove roughing operations produced duplicated cutting passes.
Improved stability during toolspace blend toolpath calculations.
Fixed a crash that could occur during collision avoidance calculations for rotary milling toolpaths.
Fixed an issue where Steep and Shallow toolpaths using a tapered mill did not generate enough passes to meet the specified cusp height.
Fixed an issue where certain turning profile finishing operations could crash during generation.

Resolved issues

Electronics

Fixed an issue where the Processing polygons progress dialog appeared immediately when moving components inside polygon fills, even for fast operations on small boards. The dialog now appears only when polygon processing takes longer, reducing unnecessary interruptions during PCB editing.

Design

When inserting a component into an empty, unsaved Part design, Fusion now provides an additional option to create a new Assembly and insert both the active Part and the inserted component. This gives you more flexibility when deciding how to organize your design.

Bill of materials

Item Numbers, Revision and Change Order properties will be automatically updated in BOM. Data stays in sync across workflows, reducing the risk of working with outdated information. (2/19)
With BOM global overrides, you can now hide child components so that they are treated as a consolidated part of their parent in the bill of materials. All quantities and physical properties are combined. (2/5)

Resolved issues

Usability

Fixed an issue on macOS where Fusion could quit unexpectedly on launch.
Resolved a freeze that could occur when closing Fusion after saving a design.
Improved reliability of crash recovery files, resolving an issue where some recovered designs could fail to open after a crash.

Two new templates have been added to the Template Library:
- Document Management: Create, store, and control product documents in one place. This template helps teams track changes, control access, and collaborate while keeping data safe and compliant.
- Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR): Manage corrective actions with your suppliers using the SCAR template. Document issues, request corrective actions, track root causes, and verify fixes to ensure quality and prevent recurrence.
