Using point probes
Displays the result at the specified point on the model.
Create a Point Probe
- In the Results tab, select Inspect > Create Point Probe , to open the Create Probe dialog.
- Click anywhere in or on the model to pick the initial position of the point probe.
- Use the manipulators to edit the point probe position.
- Click OK to close the Edit Point Probe dialog.
Edit Point Probes
- Click to select the probe in the graphics window.
- Right-click, and select Edit Point Probe from the context menu.
Delete Point Probes
- Once you place a probe, in the Results tab, select Inspect > Delete All Probes to delete all probe annotations at once.
- You can also select a single probe and delete it using the context menu from a right-click.
Note: Delete all probes removes all Surface Probes as well.
Show/Hide Point Probes
Once you place a probe, you can toggle its visibility:
- Click to select the probe in the graphics window.
- Right-click, and select Show/Hide from the marking menu.
After a probe is hidden, Show All Probes command in the Inspect drop-down and the right-click context menu is enabled to display all hidden probes.
Note: Show all probes reveals all Surface Probes as well.
