A prescribed heat flux is applied to the cylinder.
A prescribed heat flux is applied to the cylindrical face of a solid cylinder for a portion of its length (h'). The remainder of the face is insulated (no thermal load). The bottom (-Z) end of the cylinder is held at a temperature of 0.0 °C. All other faces are insulated. Find the temperature at the boundary between the prescribed heat flux and the insulated portion of the cylindrical face.
Temperature at the edge separating the heat flux zone from the insulated portion of the cylindrical face. We'll probe for the results at Point A, which lies along the edge of interest.
