Generate global contacts
In an Event Simulation study, contact pairs are generated automatically for every body.
- Select Contact > Global Contacts .
- Optionally, adjust the Default Friction Coefficient to control how bodies slide across or separate from one another.
- Optionally, activate Proximity Bonded Contact, to fully bond any bodies within the specified Proximity Distance of one another. In this case, Primary Bonded Contact overrides the Global Separation Contact settings.
- Optionally, deactivate the Allow Self Contact setting, to prevent a contact pair from being generated if a body comes into contact with itself.
- Click OK to accept the changes and close the dialog.
