Add a horizontal or vertical constraint to a sketch
Learn how to use the Horizontal/Vertical command to constrain sketch geometry to the closest horizontal or vertical axis in Fusion.
Note: The constraint commands are only available in the Sketch contextual tab as you edit a sketch.
Click Sketch > Constraints > Horizontal/Vertical
.The Horizontal/Vertical constraint icon displays next to the cursor in the canvas.
In the canvas, select the sketch geometry you want to constrain.
The sketch geometry snaps to the horizontal or vertical axis, whichever is closest to its original orientation. A constraint badge displays next to the constrained geometry in the canvas, indicating that it is constrained to the horizontal or vertical axis.
