View CCTV Service Connections on the Network Map

When a CCTV inspection records a service connection or tap, Info360 Asset displays it on the network map as a short line extending from the inspected pipe, called a lateral stub. You can see where service connections connect to the main sewer on the map without opening individual observations.

Note: Lateral stubs are available only for PACP v6 and v7 inspections. MACP, MSCC, and WSA inspections don't display lateral stubs.

How the stub is drawn

Which connections appear

Lateral stubs are generated only for PACP observations that represent a service connection or tap. Defect observations (such as cracks, fractures, roots, or infiltration) do not produce stubs.

Connection type PACP codes
Connection CN (normal), CX (defective), CI (intruding)
Tap connection TF (factory-made), TB (break-in), TS (saddle) - including their A, B, C, D, and I suffix variants (for example, TFA, TFB, TSI)

Generate and view lateral stubs

Lateral stubs are generated automatically when you approve eligible PACP CCTV inspections. You don't need to draw them manually.

Use the Lateral Stubs view to identify unapproved inspections and approve multiple inspections at once. After approval, the corresponding lateral stubs appear on the network map.

To view lateral stubs on the map, use the Layers panel to show or hide the lateral stubs layer and view its color coding, as you would with other inspection layers.

If lateral stubs don't appear after a few minutes, re-approve the affected inspections.

Approve inspections in bulk

  1. Open the Lateral Stubs view.
  2. Identify the inspections that haven't been approved.
  3. Select the inspections you want to approve.
  4. Approve the selected inspections in bulk.
