Network/Security requirements

		The
Info360 Insight Data Connector needs to be able to retrieve data from SCADA Historians/Databases, typically behind robust firewalls/security systems, and push that data to the Info360 cloud.

		We recommend the following:

- Install the Data Connector in a DMZ.

- Install the Data Connector on an isolated system, without non-essential users and non-relevant applications. This will help avoid performance issues and exposure of database content to unintended users.

Note: Invalid network configurations are the primary source of issues when installing Data Connectors. If you have a complex network configuration or security system, we highly recommend setting up a call with our support team.
