Test a Sensor's Data Connection

You can quickly check that a sensor is producing data with its current configuration.

To test a sensor:

1. Go to Admin Sensor Configuration.
2. Click on the three dots icon () Test.
3. If successful, you will see the latest 10 data points for the sensor.

   If unsuccessful, Info360 Insight will indicate that data could not be retrieved.

To troubleshoot for a sensor that's not retrieving data:

1. Open the sensor.
2. Click on the Test button in the top right.
3. Info360 Insight will indicate the fields that are causing issues.

You can also see the SQL expression being used to test the sensor in the Query String box, which is generated based on the configured fields.
