The Display Settings tab controls visual effects and features within InfoWater Pro.
To change Display Settings, go to the InfoWater Pro tab > Project group, click on the Preferences button, and then select the Display Settings tab in the dialog box.
Node Locate Map Extent - The value must be greater than zero and is used with the current map (full) extent to calculate the size of the graphical extents of a zoom. For example, the current map full extent: 10.0 × 16.0; node locate map extent %: 50.0 - > zoom in box size: 5.0 × 8.0. A node in InfoWater Pro refers to a junction, tank, reservoir, pump, or valve. Use the button next to the input box to set the zoom factor directly from the map display.
Pipe Locate Zoom Factor - The value must be greater than zero and is used with the extent box of the pipe to be located to calculate the size of the zoom in box. For example, pipe locate zoom factor: 2.0; extent size of the pipe to be located: 4.0 × 2.0 - > zoom in box size: 8.0 × 4.0.
Minimum Search Distance - Control the level of proximity of between point and point, or between point and line when UDF and CAM conduct the connectivity review.
Decimal placement - Controls the level of decimal accuracy when model inputs and results are presented in the InfoWater Pro project.
Domain Highlighting Color - Choose the domain highlight color here. When you create a domain, the elements included in the domain will be highlighted with this color. The default is red.
Selection Highlighting Color - Choose the selection highlight color here. When you select elements in the map display, the elements included in the selection will be highlighted with this color. The default is yellow.
Inactive Element Color - Choose the inactive element highlight color here. When you inactivate your elements using your Facility Manager, the inactive elements are colored using this color.
Update Contour with Active Timestep - Select a single predefined contour to update with each active timestep.
Default Google Maps Link - From the drop-down list, select the preferred layer to open in Google Maps.
Show Pipe, Pump & Valve Initial Status - Check on to mark all initially-closed pipes, pumps, and valves with a selected color (see below). You can customize your color for your initially-closed pipes, pumps, and valves in the Color dialog box.
Show Domain with Color Coding - Select this checkbox to allow color coding of elements in the active domain when you apply the map display, as shown below.
Leave unchecked and the domain elements will be covered by the map display (see below).
Show Check Valve Direction - Enable to display an arrow on the pipes with the check valve property.
Arrow Size - Specify the arrow size for map display (e.g., see the size of the directional arrow in the highlighted domain of the map below).
Apply to Domain Only - When ON, arrows are only displayed for all elements in the domain, as shown below.
OK - Click OK to save and exit from the Preferences dialog box.
Cancel - Use this to exit without saving from the Preferences dialog box.
