Isolation

The Event Trace module of the Protector allows you to determine which pipes in the system need to be closed in order to isolate a particular node element from the rest of the water distribution system. Such a node element can consist of a tank, a well, or a water treatment facility.

The Isolation tab also allows you to identify which pipes contain shut-off valves and which do not. Thus, the solution that is generated by an Isolation simulation allows you to accurately identify pipes that can and should be closed in order to isolate a node element from the rest of the water system.

Source Location
