Upgrade and Update InfoWater Pro

Periodically, Innovyze releases an upgrade (new version of application that contains software improvements or new features) or updates (software improvements or bug fixes). To be eligible to apply these files to your current installation of InfoWater Pro® software product, maintenance needs to be up-to-date and the InfoWater Pro license key should also be up-to-date.

If you are using an older version of InfoWater Pro and wish to upgrade, perform the following procedures:

  1. Open a web browser to http://www.innovyze.com and navigate to the Support > Product Downloads section.
  2. Enter your Innovyze user name and password or register as a new user.
  3. Select the link to the page with the version of InfoWater Pro you are currently running.
  4. Download the applicable upgrade.
  5. Run the executable upgrade.

    Note:

    Remember to uninstall your previous version before you install the newest InfoWater Pro software program. For example, if you are installing InfoWater Pro 3.5, then you will need to uninstall InfoWater Pro 3.0 from your computer before you install InfoWater Pro 3.5. However, you do not have to uninstall ArcGIS Pro. You just need to upgrade it to ArcGIS Pro 3.5 to align with InfoWater Pro 3.5.

If you are using the current version of InfoWater Pro and wish to update, perform the following procedures:

  1. Open a web browser to http://www.innovyze.com and navigate to the Support > Product Downloads section.
  2. Enter your Innovyze user name and password (see screenshot above) or register as a new user.
  3. Select the link to the page with the version of InfoWater Pro you are currently running.
  4. Download any Service Pack not yet applied.
  5. Run the executable Service Pack update.
  6. Download the latest update.
  7. Run the executable update.
Tip: If you have current annual maintenance keys, you may update or upgrade your InfoWater Pro at any time.
