Relink Parametric Components in Check for Updates Dialog
Link to a different file version, location, or file type for parametric components in InfraWorks
In addition to applying updates to parametric content source files (.iam, .ipt or .rfa), you can now use the Check for Updates > Relink button to direct the InfraWorks parametric style to a different version of the source file. This allows you to Relink in cases where the file has moved to a different location, or even change to a different file type.
For example, switch to a more detailed Inventor Assembly or even switch from an Inventor Part to a Revit Family. This flexibility allows for quick updates to a component at any stage of design and facilitates importing InfraWorks structures into Revit.
