Improved IMX Export for Civil Structures
IMX exports from InfraWorks have been optimized to produce significantly smaller files compared to previous releases.
Performance has also been improved when publishing and opening IMX files in Civil 3D and Revit. In earlier versions of InfraWorks, IMX exports containing Civil Structures with a large number of parametric instances could result in files several gigabytes in size, making data exchange slow and difficult.
How does it work?
Optimized IMX files can be imported into Civil 3D 2026.1 and Revit 2026.1, as well as newer versions.
