Intersection Elevation Tolerance Parameter
A new model option allows users to control the elevation tolerance between crossing roads that determines whether an intersection is created.
How does it work?
If the elevation difference between two crossing roads is below the specified tolerance, an intersection is generated. This setting also applies to roads imported from Civil 3D.
The parameter is defined at the application level (Application Options > Model Generation > Intersection Elevation Tolerance) and does not affect existing models except in the following cases:
- When one of the roads at an existing intersection is modified
- When a new intersection is created within 100 m of an existing one, causing the existing intersection to be recalculated using the new tolerance
