About Subscription

There are several ways to use InfraWorks.

  • InfraWorks provides a full set of tools for road design, civil structure design, and drainage design.
  • InfraWorks 360 LT is available to customers with a perpetual license to a design suite. You can sketch designs and explore, present, and share models.
  • For the full set of InfraWorks features, subscribe to InfraWorks or to the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection.

To subscribe to InfraWorks and assign users

  1. To use InfraWorks, the contract administrator must assign a seat to each end user.
  2. After subscribing to the software, the contract administrator will receive an order confirmation email. This email contains information about your contract and a link to the location where you can assign access to users.
  3. Click the link in the email or log into Autodesk Accounts. If you do not have an Autodesk account, you will receive a second email with your login name and temporary password.
  4. Click Management to manage your account. On the Management page you’ll find the products and services associated with your account.
  5. The number of seats you have purchased and the number of users assigned to those seats is provided. As the contract administrator, one seat of each product is assigned to you.
  6. Download and install InfraWorks. Note: If you already have the trial version of InfraWorks installed, you don’t need to install it again.
  7. Click Manage Users on the Accounts page to assign access to other users.

Assign seats to users

This procedure must be performed by an Autodesk contract administrator. The contract administrator can assign seats to each user on the Products & Services page of your Autodesk account.

See To assign seats to users.

Licensing for subscription

Autodesk InfraWorks supports two types of subscription access, single-user and multi-user, each with their own associated license types. Once you have installed Autodesk InfraWorks, you will be prompted to choose whether to use a Single-User license (a.k.a stand-alone licenses included in subscriptions with single-user access) or a Multi-User license (a.k.a. network licenses included in subscriptions with multi-user access). See To install Autodesk InfraWorks
