To change the view
Choose to work in the Conceptual View, the Engineering View, or a custom view. View settings that you specify in InfraWorks do not affect the browser view settings for an Autodesk Docs model.
The Views menu int the Toolbar allows you to quickly switch among different views. Use the options on this menu to configure and save a set of visual settings that change the appearance of models you open, and control navigation and interaction behavior. For example, if you are a civil engineer, you may choose to work in the Engineering view. If you are preparing a model for a presentation, the Conceptual View may be more appropriate.
Note: The view settings are defined for and stored with the view and may differ from one view to another. The view configurations are saved locally and are available for all models you open. Collaborators of cloud models can customize views as needed without affecting the view settings for others.
- Click the name of the active view in the Toolbar to display the Views menu.
- Select the view to display: Conceptual View, Engineering View, or Custom View.
- To customize views, use the following options:

| create a custom view | click Add, enter the view name, and configure the view settings to support your workflow. Note: The default settings for the new view are the same as the active view settings. |
| delete a custom view | highlight or select the view name in the menu and click the X to the right of the name. You cannot delete the Conceptual or Engineering view. |
| reset the Conceptual or Engineering view to the default settings | select the view name in the menu and click  . |
