To synchronize models and proposals

Use sync to send your latest changes to the cloud and receive the latest synced changes from other members of an Autodesk Docs project.

Autodesk Docs maintains model versions in the cloud.

Note: When upgrading to a new release of InfraWorks, administrators for the Autodesk Docs project must upgrade any cloud shared models to the current release before team members in the project can synchronize their local changes. See About Upgrading Models.
  1. In the Toolbar, click Sync Sync to open the Synchronize Model panel. You can hover over each My Changes icon to see when changes were made.

  2. Check Share My Changes if you want to include un-synced changes to the master or a proposal(s) in the current sync.

Common Resources are shared by the model master, proposals, bookmarks, themes, and settings on the Model Explorer.

  3. Optional: Describe changes identifying this sync. This information is stored in Model History.

  4. Click Sync.

Sync and Regenerate-Model Tips

A very large model or one with complex data features may need to be regenerated after syncing. To regenerate the model after a sync, click utilities glyph regenerate (Model Regeneration) or press F5.
