You can group shots in the Sequencer editor to organize related shots and manage them as a single unit. Groups are displayed as a single node in the Sequencer editor and contain one active shot that is used during playback. Shot groups can be color coded to visually distinguish them in the timeline. When a shot group is selected, the shots in the group move together when repositioned in the sequence.

To group shots:
A new group is created containing the selected shots. The first shot alphabetically becomes the active shot for the group.
The group is drawn at the position of the active shot and displayed in purple. Any additional shots in the group are hidden from the Sequencer editor view.
Each group has one active shot, which determines playback and the visible duration of the group.
To set the active shot:
A menu listing all shots in the group appears. Select the shot you want to make active.
You can add a shot to an existing group.
To add a shot to a group:
The shot is added to the group and removed from the Sequencer editor view.
Muting a group mutes all shots contained within it.
To mute a group:
All shots in the group have their mute state turned on.
Unmuting a group unmutes all shots contained within it.
To unmute a group:
All shots in the group have their mute state turned off.
You can remove one or more shots from a group without deleting them.
To remove shots from a group:
The selected shots are removed from their groups. If a group becomes empty, it is deleted.
To ungroup all shots in a group:
All shots are removed from the group, the group node is deleted, and the shots reappear in the Sequencer editor.
To delete groups and all shots they contain:
The selected group nodes and their shots are deleted.
