Create an Ubercam for all shots in a sequence

The Sequencer editor lets you create a single Ubercam that represents all shots in a sequence. An Ubercam bakes the camera parameters from each shot in the sequence into one camera.

Before you create an Ubercam

Before creating an Ubercam, ensure that the shots in your sequence meet the following conditions:

  • No shots are scaled larger or smaller than 100%, and no shots use pre- or post-holds.
  • All shots have the same duration and frame count in both sequence time and source time.
  • Shot cameras are not constrained to follow other objects in the scene.

Create an Ubercam

To create a single camera for all shots in a sequence:

  1. In the Sequencer editor, select Create > Ubercam.

The Ubercam is created and appears in the Outliner. No object is created in the Sequencer editor. All camera parameters from the shots in the sequence are baked into the Ubercam.

If you modify any of the source shot cameras, recreate the Ubercam to update it.

Adjust Ubercam properties

To adjust Ubercam properties, select the Ubercam in the Outliner and open the Attribute Editor.
