You can transfer values and connections from one asset to another using the Transfer Attribute Values option. Maya copies the values from any identically named published attributes from the source asset to the target asset.
Several powerful options are available to configure attribute transfers. For more information, see Transfer Attribute Values Options.
To transfer attribute values between assets
- Select the source asset from the Outliner.
- Shift + select the target asset.
- Select Edit > Transfer Attribute Values >
and set the Transfer Attribute Values Options. All identically named attribute values are transferred from the source asset to the target asset.
- After setting options as required, select Apply or Apply and Close.
