You can access the Reference Edits window and remove the edits you made to selected referenced objects or files.
Note: You can only remove edits that were made in the currently open scene.
For example, consider A.ma which references B.ma which references C.ma.
You open B.ma and modify C.ma, and save. If you open A.ma, you can't remove the edits made from B.ma to C.ma. To do so, you would have to re-open B.ma and then remove the edits.
To remove reference edits
- Access the Reference Edits window by doing one of the following:
- In the Outliner, right-click the reference node or referenced object and select Reference > List Edits from the menu that appears.
- In the Reference Editor, select the reference and select File > List Reference Edits.
- In the Reference Editor, right-click the reference and select File > List Reference Edits from the menu that appears.
The Reference Edits window appears listing all of the edits made to the selected reference.
- In the Reference Edits window, select the reference edits you want to remove.
- Click Remove Selected Edits.
