Access: Displays the Options dialog box. Sets the viewing options, colors, units and precision of measurement, and graphical and system options.
General tab
- Navigation Tools
- Displays or hides the Navigation toolbar.
- View Cube
- Displays or hides the View Cube.
- Orientation
- Sets orientation of the XYZ coordinate system.
- Selected Color
- Sets color for components selected in the browser or graphic window.
- Measurement Size

Sets text size of annotation created with the Measure command.
Background tab
- Color gradient

Plain applies a solid color to the background.
Graduated applies a saturation gradient. Uses selected Top and Bottom Color as the gradient limits.
Horizon applies a saturation gradient to sky and ground background. Uses selected Sky, Horizon Sky, Horizon Ground, and Ground Color as the gradient limits.
Advanced tab
- Linear Units
- Sets units for linear measurements.
- Angular Units
- Sets units for angular measurements.
- Decimal Places
- Sets precision for metric units.
- Fraction Precision
- Sets precision for imperial units.
- Visibility
- Displays or hides model lines.
- Frame Rate
- Specifies the number of frames per second that are rendered in the mockup view. The default setting is 6. You can set the frame rate from 1 through 60 frames per second. Reducing the value reduces drop-out, but can cause jerky movement during navigation. Increasing the value ensures a smoother navigation, but increases drop-out.
- Graphic System
- Select Autodesk for better display quality, or Basic for better performance.
- Hardware Acceleration
- Select to utilize available hardware acceleration on your video card. Clear the selection if your video card drivers do not work well with the viewer. Not available if your video card does not support hardware acceleration.
- Cache
- Sets size of cache memory. Larger cache size improves performance.
