Workflow: Creating Mockup Projects

Create a digital mockup, add components, and confirm that all components are positioned correctly. Then invite collaborators to the project to add their part of the design to the mockup.

  1. Create a mockup
    Use the Mockup 360 Dashboard or Add to Mockup command in Autodesk Inventor to create new mockups.
  2. Insert components in a mockup
    Insert models created in various 3D CAD applications and stored in various formats and locations.
  3. Find component clashes in a mockup
    Use Clash Check to detect component interferences.
  4. Reposition components in a mockup
    Use the Reposition command to move components to desired positions.
  5. Invite collaborators to a mockup
    Send invitation emails to share the mockup with your collaborators.
