Ambient Occlusion filter properties

Number of Casts

Specifies the number of intersection rays used at each pixel to determine if any pixel is shadowed.

Directions

Modifies the randomness of each intersection ray’s direction from the starting pixel.

Cast Length

Specifies how far from each pixel an intersection ray should travel to determine if one pixel is in the shade of another.

Fade

Lightly increases or decreases the shadow effect.

Darkness

Heavily increases or decreases the shadow effect.

Blur

Blurs the Ambient Occlusion result with a rendered image.

Blur Radius

Specifies the amount of blurring done.

Only AO

Shows the Ambient Occlusion results. These results are not affected by the blur.
