Clone a workspace

Note:

If you're a Fusion user, this feature is not available in the Components or Drawings workspaces. Learn more about system workspaces.

Use Clone in Workspace Manager to create a new workspace that copies settings and configurations from an existing workspace. You can change details on the Clone workspace page and choose which tabs to copy.

Note: Cloning does not copy user permissions or main menu placement from the original workspace.
  1. From the main menu, go to Administration > Workspace Manager.

  2. Locate the workspace you want to copy from.

  3. Hover over the workspace row, then click More More menu.

  4. Select Clone from the drop-down list.

    The Clone workspace page opens.

  5. Enter the details for the new workspace:

    • Name and description
    • Category and type
    • Tabs and settings to include
  6. Click Create workspace.

The cloned workspace appears Workspace Manager. Finish any remaining setup tasks so the workspace is ready for your users.
