A BOM view defines which columns and data fields the Bill of Materials tab shows for a workspace on your Fusion Manage site. Besides the built-in system view, administrators can publish multiple custom views, and users switch between them from the Views menu on the tab. Typical layouts emphasize classification, shipping logistics, supplier attributes, or other columns that match departmental processes.
Workspace Manager stores each view as an ordered set of field tiles on the Bill of materials tab page. Each tile maps to an underlying workspace field from the shared library, so administrators can present different column arrangements on the Bill of Materials tab without duplicating Item records.
You configure BOM views on the Bill of materials tab page in Workspace settings.
For step-by-step tasks after you open the page, see Create a BOM View and Manage BOM views.
The figure below shows the main areas of the BOM Layout page. Numbers match the descriptions that follow.

BOM Fields: Custom fields created for the workspace's Bill of Materials tab, including Roll up fields (see 1a). You can drag and drop any of these fields onto your view.
1a. Add Field: Create additional custom BOM fields (see Create fields).
Add View: Adds an empty view layout at the bottom of the BOM Views panel.
View Name: Sets the name that appears on the tab BOM View menu.
Add Field Tile: Inserts an empty field tile in the view layout.
Choose Source Field: Selects which field the tile shows.
Customize Field Name: Sets the label for that field on the Bill of Materials tab.
Administrators can publish more than one custom view for the same workspace, which lets separate teams use distinct column sets while Item master data stays centralized in one workspace definition.
Cloning copies an existing view’s layout and field selections, which reduces repetitive setup when a new view resembles an old one.
The default view appears when someone opens the Bill of Materials tab and stays active until that person selects a different layout from the Views menu.
Add fields to views from other sources, including default and custom Bill of Materials fields, Item Details fields, default and custom Sourcing fields, and system fields.
Each tile can show a custom label in the column header without renaming the underlying field definition.
Administrators add fields and change column sequence through drag-and-drop on the BOM Layout canvas, because the tile order in the layout matches the column order on the Bill of Materials tab.
