Units of Measure Manager

Use the UOM Manager to configure the units of measure available for Bill of Materials (BOM) quantities in your Fusion Manage site. The configured units populate the built-in BOM UOM Picklist, which is used in picklist fields on the Item Details tab of BOM workspaces.

The UOM Manager includes 16 standard units of measure by default. You can edit existing units, add new units, and delete units that are no longer needed.

Open the UOM Manager

  1. From the main menu, go to Administration > System Configuration.
  2. In the left-side panel, click UOM Manager.

Edit a unit

  1. On the UOM Manager page, click the Unit Name or Unit Abbreviation field for the unit you want to edit.
  2. Make your changes.
  3. Click Save.

Add a unit

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Add New Unit.
  2. In the new blank row, enter a Unit Name and Unit Abbreviation.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a unit

Click the Delete delete icon at the end of the row for the unit you want to delete.
