Customize item preview

If you're a Fusion user, this feature is not available in the Components or Drawings workspaces. Learn more about system workspaces.

By default, the Item Preview Data Card displays fields from only the first section of the Item Details tab. You can customize the data card for a specific workspace to display additional from the tab.

To customize fields on the Item Preview Data Card:

  1. On the Administration menu, click Workspace Manager.
  2. In the Workspace Manager, select the workspace whose preview card you want to customize.
  3. In the left-side panel, click Item details tab.
  4. Click the Edit icon icon next to first field you want displayed.
  5. In the Editing a Field window, select the Visible on preview check box.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Do the same for each field in the tab you want displayed.
Important: When you customize a workspace's Item Preview Data Card, every field you want displayed must have the checkbox selected. The check box is clear by default so you must explicitly select a field for inclusion in the data card.
